She has a very sensitive stomach and has had issues with loose stool since she was just a puppy. I had her on a food for dogs with sensitive stomaches and I thought she was doing pretty good, until we tried this. I was hesitant to try a raw food, but she has had perfect stools ever since! The best part is that she actually likes the food and gets excited for meal time, which is unusual for her. I am so happy that I tried this food, it is worth every penny!

(More customer reviews)I internet shopped for a week, reading consumer reports and customer reviews of just about every blender made. I decided on this one based on my research and I am glad I did. I make my husband fruit and juice smoothies almost every day after work and with this machine it is a fast, easy job. Ice and frozen fruit are blended into the drink very quickly.
It is a little loud but it is worth the noise to have 500 watts of power. I also like the fact the base is heavy cast metal, the pitcher is thick, solid glass with a tight fitting lid and the blade is stainless. I like the easy to use control knob and the fact it has 2, yes just 2 speeds. I find most machines with 12 to 20 little buttons are fairly useless and all those speeds rarely used, they also take up more counter space because the bases have to be bigger for all the buttons.
The fact that the Hamilton Beach comes in 6 colors is just icing on the cake and the Moroccan Red is gorgeous.

After I receive the order, I found that in the package, there were several bones with various shapes. I gave one to my GSD. To my horror, my GSD can crack the bone and swallowed the shape-edged bone fragment. I immediately opened all three packages and find one large knukle bone that my GSD can't break and threw away the rest. I won't buy this thing again.

a review of this product and not the benefits of raw food.
We have fed our Labrador Natures Variety Organic Chicken Raw food for the last 5 years. It was recently
discontinued by the manufacturer and we went looking for another high quality food with similar ingredients.
We first wanted to switch to the conventional Chicken from Natures Variety until we saw that there is a 2nd protein source (Turkey) which
leads to food allergies. It is well known that "single-source" protein is more easily digestible so after much
research we decided on Paw Naturaw (try saying that name fast 5 times!).
The ingredients and how they source their food, and AAFCO Certification were the deciding factors.
They ship with dry ice and the product was shipped in a timely manner and arrived frozen solid. We used Amazon.com prime and overnight shipping for $3.99
6 lbs of patties in each bag (12, 8 ounce patties).
Three things of slight concern were the feeding guidelines,Pathogen free certification, and many reports that customer service for the company "does not return emails" and is not very knowledgeable about certain aspects their own product. Their website suggests a much higher food intake (2x) over Primal and Natures Variety (that would be a lot more $$, so we got the calories per 8 oz patty and indeed it is less calories. So we may end up having to feed more. We were feeding two 8 ounce patties per Day for our 60lb dog.
The pathogen free report # that they mention on their website was not found on any of our bags, maybe its not applicable to the product we purchased?
Customer service seemed confused as to where their product ships from (important if your deciding on shipping times and handling procedures for a frozen, perishable product). Other than those issues which may be a non-issue for some, this in my opinion is a superior product, perhaps the best raw food patties currently on the market, and the convenience of ordering through Amazon.com and and fast shipping made this an easy decision in the end. We had great concerns about the SCREW holding the blade in place falling apart. We were wrong -- the engine melted after 2 days of use. We were not making a gravel and asphalt smoothie.
How can something SO bad still be on the market? More importantly, why are Amazon and other reputable resellers still peddling this and even MORE importantly, why is B&D not recalling the entire stock but instead is trying to push it out?

Harold Imports Chopstir Review

Even thought the ground beef I had was the cheapest I could find, this tool did an amazing job of breaking the beef apart. When it was almost all browned, I chopped it again with this, and the meat was broken into tiny little particles! This is so much easier to use than a spatula, wooden spoon or fork! And the results were awesome! I love that I could just throw it in the dishwasher and it is clean again! Definitely worth the small amount of money this costs! I might just buy a few more for family!

(More customer reviews)I recently added the new rabbit option (in medallions) to my Cavalier's current Paw Naturaw rotation of bison, turkey, beef, chicken, elk, on recommendation of my Integrative Vet. It is excellent and passed my puppy's taste test. Although I would have preferred that the meat source were certified organic, and that it was a single meat source product (it also contains pork), this clearly is an excellent canine raw rabbit diet option. I request that this product, like all other Paw Naturaw medallion options, be made available on Amazon with single-bag purchase option. Currently, there is a two-bag minimum. Paw Naturaw, in contrast to several other raw food producers who have starting processing their so-called "raw" products with high-pressure pasteurization techniques, appears to continue to maintain high quality standards by lab-testing each batch of its raw product for salmonella and providing a Pathogen-Free Safety Guarantee on the label of their raw products.

Harold Imports Mrs. Anderson's 9-Inch Pie Shield Review

(More customer reviews)I bought these because I was sick of creating foil shields on the pies I bake. I love that these slip perfectly on and off. However, I've found that since they're made of metal or aluminum, they actually conduct heat and cause the crust of the pie to darken faster than the center--which is exactly what I DIDN'T want it to do. That said, I have to admit that while the edges of my pies look darker than the rest, it hasn't come out burnt as it would if I were to bake the pie without any sort of shield.
I'm planning on buying another brand's--something made from silicone instead.

(More customer reviews)We bought this for our dog Mango and he absolutely loves it. It works pretty much like a rubber covered ice tray. Put it together, fill it with water, pop it in the freezer, pull it out and pop off the white plastic half and serve to your panting puppy. It's pretty entertaining watching him lick and gnaw on it. The ice forms around grooves in the rubber half of the bone so it's a good challenge for Mango to get all of the ice off of the bone. He's come up with some inventive ways to get all the frozen goodness out though.
Since it is ice and ice does melt, it will make the area under the bone wet. Not too big of a deal since water dries or you can put a towel underneath it if you're worried about liquids on your floors.
If it's hot where you are and your dog is looking like s/he needs some heat relief definitely get this. =)

Jokari Burger Maker Slider Maker, 2 units Review

(More customer reviews)So yea... I kept seeing those infomercials for the slider maker on tv and decided I wanted one. This was a reasonably priced alternative. And I am not disappointed. I've made several batches now and want to pass along some wisdom.
Keep the burgers on the thin side. They cook better. After you've pressed a batch, use a drinking straw to punch 3 holes in each patty. You can squeeze the excess meat out of the straw so it doesn't get wasted. You can freeze the tray of patties and then remove and snap apart each individual patty. And then store these frozen sliders in a freezer bag or container. It's nice to have a bunch on hand for quick easy snacks... When you grill them up, throw some onions on your pan and then the frozen patty. No need to flip them, as the steam vent holes you created with the straw eliminate the need for flipping. As for the buns, I've tried using hotdog buns cut in half - but they are too small. I've found both of my regular grocery stores stock mini burger buns in the deli department.
I disagree with the reviewer who thought this wouldn't last. While it's not made of a space age bionic polymer, there's no reason this product won't last for years and years with normal use and care.

We don't recommend filling the tray with water, as it quickly chills and thus slows down the defrosting time. ANOTHER TIP: Leave the meat in it's wrapper if you'll be gone all day, to slow the defrosting, preventing it from sitting out at room temperature too long. LASTLY: Unwrapped meat should be covered with a sheet of wax paper or foil to protect it from dust, pet dander, and other stuff that's floating in the air.
