One of our rescued dogs developed severe allergies as a result of getting all the vaccines at once from the animal shelter. This young, beautiful boy was miserable just 3 weeks after receiving those vaccines. We had been feeding them home cooked, organic food but switched over to Paw Naturaw when our holistic vet told us he has seen wonderful results with animals who eat raw, organic food. It's worked a miracle for this dog who now has no allergy symptoms at all!

(More customer reviews)I have been feeding my cats organic raw chicken for several months and was thrilled to find this product with free shipping. My cats love the food. That's not the problem.
After trying the smaller sized packages and finding that my cats liked the food, I decided to try the 80-ounce bags because it was less expensive. However each of the 3 times I received the orders, the shipment arrived with some or all of the bags broken open, requiring me to re-package the food before freezing it. The second time this happened, all 5 bags were torn along the seam, so I called Naturaw directly and was told that maybe the bags broke because of the proximity to the dry ice. I requested that they send me additional bags in case it happens again with future orders, and they sent me 2. When I thawed the food I had to repackage, I noticed it had some freezer burn, and did not have the same color as the food in the original package. It didn't smell bad, so I didn't discard it.
Today I received a new shipment. This time three of the five bags were torn open. I called customer service again, and this time Jeff, who I had spoken to a few weeks ago, and apparently is the only person who handles customer service, essentially blew me off completely. All he would say is that he can give me Amazon's telephone number, which, incidentally, he never did. I repeatedly asked why Amazon would be responsible for the packaging problem, asking if Naturaw packaged the product or if Amazon did, and he completely ignored my question and refused to answer! I asked if I could speak to someone else, and he said he's the only person. I asked if he would send me more bags, and he refused. I told him I would no longer be ordering this product considering the poor customer service, and he couldn't care less, telling me that's my choice.
I have a raw food business (for people) and believe that raw whole foods provide the best nutrition, and have been recommending this product to my clients. I no longer will. I just found a comparable product from Nature's Logic in 3.2 oz. patties that I will order in the future. Unfortunately Amazon does not offer this product, so I will order through a distributor that does. Even without the free super saver shipping, the product is less expensive than this one.

In desparation I went the organic holistic route. A few month ago I started her on Paw Naturaw which I found over the internet.
The food arrived, every time I ordered, well packed in ice. My beautiful hound with her delicate stomach is thriving on her new diet. We haven't had an upset stomach since.

We recently went to a quality dog show & several breeders came over to find out what I feed my dogs. I didn't know any of these people & I hadn't said a word to anyone. They saw their quality, lusterous coat, bright & shiny eyes, & vitality. If you want super healthy, happy, energetic, beautiful dogs - feed them Paw Naturaw. My pack loves all the varieties, except the beef. Giving them different foods is also better for them nutritionally. This food works wonders for dogs with allergies, too. She has a very sensitive stomach and has had issues with loose stool since she was just a puppy. I had her on a food for dogs with sensitive stomaches and I thought she was doing pretty good, until we tried this. I was hesitant to try a raw food, but she has had perfect stools ever since! The best part is that she actually likes the food and gets excited for meal time, which is unusual for her. I am so happy that I tried this food, it is worth every penny!

Paw Naturaw Diet Organic Chicken Patties in Plastic Bag (Pack of 5) Review

a review of this product and not the benefits of raw food.
We have fed our Labrador Natures Variety Organic Chicken Raw food for the last 5 years. It was recently
discontinued by the manufacturer and we went looking for another high quality food with similar ingredients.
We first wanted to switch to the conventional Chicken from Natures Variety until we saw that there is a 2nd protein source (Turkey) which
leads to food allergies. It is well known that "single-source" protein is more easily digestible so after much
research we decided on Paw Naturaw (try saying that name fast 5 times!).
The ingredients and how they source their food, and AAFCO Certification were the deciding factors.
They ship with dry ice and the product was shipped in a timely manner and arrived frozen solid. We used Amazon.com prime and overnight shipping for $3.99
6 lbs of patties in each bag (12, 8 ounce patties).
Three things of slight concern were the feeding guidelines,Pathogen free certification, and many reports that customer service for the company "does not return emails" and is not very knowledgeable about certain aspects their own product. Their website suggests a much higher food intake (2x) over Primal and Natures Variety (that would be a lot more $$, so we got the calories per 8 oz patty and indeed it is less calories. So we may end up having to feed more. We were feeding two 8 ounce patties per Day for our 60lb dog.
The pathogen free report # that they mention on their website was not found on any of our bags, maybe its not applicable to the product we purchased?
Customer service seemed confused as to where their product ships from (important if your deciding on shipping times and handling procedures for a frozen, perishable product). Other than those issues which may be a non-issue for some, this in my opinion is a superior product, perhaps the best raw food patties currently on the market, and the convenience of ordering through Amazon.com and and fast shipping made this an easy decision in the end. If you've been wanting to feed your dog a raw diet but are hesitant because of the hassle (remembering to thaw, cleaning dishes within 30 minutes of feeding, cleaning everything the raw meat comes in contact with too), this is a great food to try. It is Paw Naturaw's complete raw food diet, dehydrated. It is shelf stable and so easy to feed. I just put it in the bowl and watch my dogs gobble it up. If they leave any in the dish, there's no problem leaving it there until they finish it. So, there's no waste. My dogs LOVE this food. My dogs do tend to be quite finicky and easily get bored with their food so I do rotate with three other brands of freeze dried raw (Stella and Chewys Duck or Beef Dinner, Animal Food Services/Nature's Advantage All Beef Nibblets, Ziwi Peak Venison & Fish). One caveat - my little toy dogs are all quite fit and trim and they all eat more than the recommended daily amount of all of these foods. So, it is not inexpensive to exclusively feed these foods. We feel it is well worth the additional cost to feed such a good quality, organic food and to have such healthy dogs. Amazon has the best price on Paw Naturaw and I highly recommend it.

We have tried the beef, chicken and bison. All excellent. Fresh smelling! We feed raw meats and fruits and veggies to our girls in addition to PawNaturaw's great products. Our girls have no bad breath, no doggie body odor, and no tartar on their teeth!

We constantly search for dog food that has only the highest quality -
I feel that we FOUND IT! My sister is going to be ordering from Paw Naturaw, too - we both have small young dogs, and we want to feed a product that will give them the best chances to live a long and healthy life.
We have tried the beef and also the chicken - the dogs love them!
Thanks the "organic" everything! That's not easy to find.
They arrive frozen, in an insulated box, packed in dry ice, perfect to pop into the freezer. Convenient size medallions.
We'll be regular customers. HIGHLY recommend this product and this brand.

(More customer reviews)I have a 14-month-old active Border Collie in good health. I was feeding her a quality wheat-free dry kibble but she did not always warm to the dry stuff. She loves the raw chicken food! (The cat loves it too and crowds into the dog's bowl at meal time.) I mix the raw with the dry kibble to stretch it a little farther. I noticed almost immediately after starting on the raw food my dog was more calm and receptive to training. (She is a rescue and was never trained before I adopted her.) At the same time her energy level is up, her coat has a greater shine and she sleeps better at night.
The Paw Natural has a good basic ingredient list. If you can't or don't want to assemble your own raw food, this is a great way to go. I would have tried the Steve's Real Food brand raw food (because my mother has been using it for years with her Border Collies) but it is not available locally. The Paw Natural is less expensive and with Amazon free shipping is a great deal. I live in Miami, Florida and the first package of 12 rolls arrived via 2nd-day UPS shipping from Kentucky with the dry ice completely evaporated but the rolls still frozen rock hard, despite the Miami heat.
Now, if I can only keep the cat out of this stuff.

My cats usually eat a homemade raw diet, but this is such a great change of pace for me and for them...and at a great price. It's less expensive than the other commercial brand of raw I was buying from the pet store, and they love it! It has a nice texture, and is super-easy to thaw for them.
