(More customer reviews)I have have three young children, having used both this feeder and the previous feeder put out by Sassy the Sassy Teething Feederthis one is an improvement. The ring at the top of the feeding bag which sits inside the green ring on this version does not collapse where on the previous version it did. As a result with the previous version there was always a risk the bag could be pulled out from the feeder itself allowing baby direct access to whatever food was inside the bag, posing a choking hazard.
I do not agree with previous reviewers which said these are difficult to keep clean. Banana, Avocado, sweet potato, frozen cooked fruit it all comes out, and I've had no issue with it staining the bags, even when the food has been left in the bag for an extended period of time, rather then being rinsed out when baby is finished. I do not use bleach or anything like that to clean the bag. I rinse the bag as I'm turning it inside out, spray it with a little Biokleen Bac-Out Stain & Odor Eliminator with Sprayer, 32-Ounce Bottles (Case of 12) and let it sit for a few minutes while I'm loading the dishwasher, give it another quick rinse and then put it in the cutlery tray in the dishwasher. I don't consider that difficult to clean because I use Bac-Out on everything from carpet stains to laundry stains, I have yet to find anything it will not remove. Secondly turning something inside out to wash it is a pretty normal thing if you want your garmets to last, I'm not sure why the previous reviewers would suggest soaking an item, or turning it inside out makes it harder to clean. At some point in your adult life you are going to have to soak a pot, pan, baking dish, cups or other dishes and cutlery to get them clean this is no different, if you have kids there will be items which need to be soaked. I think the bigger problem is the cleaner being used not the product itself.
I also have had no issue with the ring cracking, chipping or otherwise breaking. I check them before I use them to make sure they are fine, just like I check all toys before the baby plays with them. He bangs them on the table, throws them on the ground, chews on the green ring and handle (prefers it to a teether toy) and at one point his oldest brother (4) was trying to play a strange mix of hockey and soccer with one of them. For me it has proven to be very durable. Maybe the other reviewer simply got a defective product, I suggest contacting Sassy to see if they will send out a replacement for the defective piece.
In short I feel it is a great product for helping babies to some control over and feed themselves. They learn through mouthing. This feeder has helped me to get my son to eat foods which he previously did not want, because he was introducing it himself, he could take little tastes. Instead of it taking 10 times of me trying give him a new food, using the feeder, it only takes 2 or 3 times. I'm very happy with it.

Annabel Karmel Freeze Cube Tray Review

I'm doing all homemade baby food for my youngest child and really wanted a good system for safely and neatly freezing and storing batches of purees. I liked the look of these and was glad to see they came with a lid (NOT airtight, but better than nothing) for easy stacking in the freezer and for limiting the food's exposure to air. I ordered two. BOTH of those original two arrived with tiny (pinhead size) holes in them, one in each tray, as well as a pencil-eraser sized weak spot, where the silicon was thinner, in one section of one of the trays. Amazon has some of the best customer service around and made the exchange for two more super easy, even upgrading me free of charge to next day shipping so I'd have them quick. The next two that arrived were perfect, at least in terms of being hole free. I made a batch of puree and tried them out...when it came time for popping the frozen cubes out to store in freezer bags, I was disappointed to find that they didn't really "pop" out at all. In fact, they were stuck pretty fast in there. It took running the bottom of the tray under warm water to release them. That isn't so much extra effort, but I had really hoped that the silicon would just release the cubes cleanly without any trouble so that I could keep the entire amount totally frozen until needed.
I haven't tried any other baby food storage trays, so I have nothing to compare these to. I question whether they'll hold up well over the long term and I hope that they will. I do like their form factor and it is great to have something I know won't leach chemicals or something in my baby's food. I love the convenience of grabbing a few cubes from the freezer to microwave for baby's dinner--just as easy as opening a jar from the store and a lot cheaper & better for baby.
In conclusion: If you decide to give these a try, inspect your trays thoroughly for holes and weak spots before using. In something that stores pureed food or liquid, hole = MESS. And if you have a baby, you probably have enough of those to deal with already. Also expect to have to dunk the bottom or run it under warm water to release the cubes.

Nuby 2-Pack Nibbler Review

(More customer reviews)My daughter got this from my mother and at first she wanted nothing to do with it, screamed every time it got near her mouth so my husband & I figured she didn't like it and put it away. Fast forward about 2 weeks and we were desperate one night while fixing dinner so I pulled it out and tried it again, she was more accepting of it this time and once she figured out food came out of it she loved it. The best things I've found with it (so far) is strawberries w/ seeds cut off & bread/ bagel pieces to suck/ chew on without fear of choking. One cavaet: DO NOT use with bananas it is a pain to clean off, I eventually had to watch the mesh twice then soak it in very diluted bleach and finally wash it again to get it clean.
I like the construction of the Nuby better then either Munchkin or Sassy feeders. In my opinion the mesh is finer but yet easier to ger something out of, it's easier to clean & the twist/ turn method is better then then the 'snap' close of the others. It's great for them on chew & suck on to get new flavors but I wouldn't use it for true teething purposes, the mesh can irritate already sore gums (which may have been our problem at first) and it can wear down over time so you'll have to replace it quicker.

(More customer reviews)I originally bought this the summer of 2009 for my baby's room and loved it. We moved recently and I loved her room so much that I wanted to decorate her new room the same way. When I first tried to order this border it was on backorder. Well the manufacturer changed the border.... for the worse. Not only is the border 2 inches thinner (shorter)the quality is horrible. It feels like a thin cheap plastic instead of wallpaper and doesn't even stick to the walls. I'm not quite sure what we're going to do with it at this point. I really don't want to have to repaint her entire room. We're going to try & rehang the section that keeps falling down. Hopefully it's just poor adhesive. I definitely would not recommend this product to anyone. The rest of the bedding set is awesome!

Pulled out a lot of the sage green accents in other items and I really like the cool, comfortable feeling the soft colors give out. Quilt is pretty thin and questionably made, but living in the deep south we don't need heavy blankets anyway. Hope this helps!

(More customer reviews)I love this design far more than anything else I have seen, and I have looked at a lot of nursery decor. For the price though, collections from Kidsline, NoJo, and Cocalo of a similar price are a lot higher quality using thicker fabrics, more textured fabrics, and appliques. This pattern is just printed on and the fabric is just like regular cotton sheets with some light padding in the bumper and quilt. That being said, I still fell in love with this design, so I am still happy with my purchase.

Fisher-Price Precious Planets Play Yard Review

(More customer reviews)This Playard is pretty darn adorable. I have mine set up in my living room.
I was hoping that one of the little animals in the mobile was the polar bear, like how it shows on some of the ads. The box even has the polar bear being one of the animals, but the instructions and some other photos show the crocodile. Even so, I love the playard. The changing table has to be taken out every time you use it. So, you have to find a place for it when baby's in the bassinet.
Also, I tried a quilted travel yard sheet by Graco, the standard size, but it created a bubble between the sheet and padding. So, then I tried a regular travel yard sheet and it worked a lot better. Too bad Precious Planet doesn't make the sheets for this.
This product was easy to put together and you'll have to remember to break it down correctly before taking it on the go.
Overall, I really love this product, the colors, the practicality and its Precious Planet :)

(More customer reviews)When I was pregnant and shopping for the nursery, I was torn between what type of bumper to buy. One one hand I liked the softness of the Carter's brand bumper, but I liked the "breathable" bumper because my daughter was born in the beginning of summer and I wanted her to stay as cool as possible; so I bought the breathable bumper. When I put it on the crib, it looked very nice and while my daughter was little and imobile, it was very useful. As soon as she began to roll around, about 4 months, I would wake in the night to screams...her litttle arms and legs would get caught in the spacing of the crib, up and over the bumper! She would roll and turn while sleeping and apparently her limbs would lift over the bumper and the bumper would crumble under the light pressure of a babies arm. I have since bought the Carter's brand bumper and I am happy. It stands up to her limbs and no more limbs get caught. Great idea, but bumper needs work.

Cuddle Bee Chenille Blanket Review

(More customer reviews)This is possibly the worst excuse for a baby blanket I've seen. One one side it is supposed to be chenille--but it's closer to cheap terry cloth. The other side is a stiff cotton, similar to a place mat or starched drapery. Do not waste your $50 on this. I should have listened to the first reviewer!

I bought it for a friend who hasnt found out what the sex is yet.. we both still thought it was super cute just wish they labled it as a feely or security blanket or something other that blanket.. i take full blame for that.. its just a small blanket.. would be good for the car seat though.. good quality material, nice pattern and cute pickle.. the pickle sold it for me!!

Trend Lab Diaper Stacker Review

I was watching the mail every day until it arrived. Today I recieved it and its not exactly what I ordered. The name was threaded in almost the same shade as the diaper stacker itself. I can not even see it if I am a couple steps away. The picture on the computer shows it to be alot darker and its not. I paid for the personalization and I am not so happy. This was a let down. I wish they would have made it so you can see it if I'm a few steps away.

Bubbles - Musical Mobile Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this product new and the mechanical part was broken such that the mobile neither spins nor plays music. I called the company to ask for a replacement, but it was not their "policy" to replace that part free of charge, but they were willing to do it for $5. My wife paid over $40 for this product (even then I thought that was too much). This is our first child but our last product from Lambs and Ivy.
