(More customer reviews)I just received two of these fixtures. Both lense covers were broken and parts of the frame were bent. The packaging these units arrived
in were what they were packaged in while loading a pallet of them for a shipment to a warehouse. While a pallet of these fixtures would probably arrive, unscathed, the individual fixture packaging will not survive Fedex/UPS without damage.
They received one star because, in spite of a 'rattling' box they still worked and 'super' glue/pliers alleviated the packaging issues.
Be prepared.......

Possini Euro Bubbles 13 3/4" Wide Ceiling Light Fixture Review

(More customer reviews)This whimsical light is delightful in our guest bedroom. It far exceeded my expectations. The bubbles cascading from the ceiling are enchanting, and the five 20 watt bulbs provide enough light for reading, although the light shines down in a column. This fixture does not light the room evenly, like the globe lamp on a ceiling fan (for example). However, I enjoy the glow it casts about half-way down the walls and the underwater-like reflections from the glass bubbles. The light is bright enough to be practical but also creates a wonderful atmosphere. The glass bubbles are darling even when it's off.
The lamp came with clear instructions, extra parts, and five bulbs. The glass bubbles are already attached to the wires; you just have to hook each one to the chrome plate. I thought we would have to hire an electrician to install it, but my husband did the wiring. It's very simple (white to white, black to black)--just make sure you turn off the breaker! From start to finish, it took us less than an hour to remove the old ceiling fan and assemble and install this light.
The replacement bulbs are pricey, and the glass bubbles will be challenging to dust. But it's so fabulous, I don't care! Everyone who has seen it loves it, and I smile every time I turn it on.
Update 9/2010: I still love it, but as I suspected, it's a pain to dust. My husband has to get on a step-stool to dust it, and the glass bubbles look dusty again by the next day. (I blame the dog.) I guess you could use a Swiffer with an extension handle, but I'm afraid to knock the bubbles together and risk breaking them. So I'd think carefully before installing it in a room with a high ceiling!
