I was somewhat hoping to get the exact pitcher shown in the picture. However Rubbermaid has discontinued this style and what you get is the new style Rubbermaid pitcher that is much inferior in many ways:
1. The volume of the pitcher went down from 2.25 qt do 2qt which makes it almost overflow if you mix frozen OJ exactly to the instructions
2. The design is now somewhat tapered instead of exactly cylindrical which makes it more difficult to handle
3. The design of the lid is completely awkward - the old ones could be turned 360 degree with ease but the new ones have notches that make turning the lid for opening and closing a lot harder
4. The lid does not provide the same tight seal as the old ones did.
The seller should update the product picture to reflect more accurately what you will be getting.

(More customer reviews)I have been using two of these tankards for over a year now. I believe I was incorrect about the handle being plastic; the mold line on the interior of the handle near the bottom is what gave me that initial impression. My only (minor) gripe is that they are EXACTLY 16 ounce capacity; with a typical pint glass you'll have a bit of headroom (1/8-1/4" or so) to avoid a spill, but these go right to the edge. Not a big deal, but worth knowing if you tend to buy pint bottles. With that said, the construction is excellent; they're good as new since purchase. The double-wall does seem to keep beer cold longer than a refrigerated or frozen glass. I had a minor problem with my first one, but StainlessLUX went out of their way to correct it. You can't go wrong here.

Slush Mugs - Frozen Beverage Slushie Cups Set of 2 Review

(More customer reviews)This one works better even though it looks cheap. The ones that are translucent and in blue, pink and no color all have a visible seam. The instructions on the others say to freeze them upside down. Well that helps but it will fail anyway just not in the freezer. My old one let go in my lap. The next thing I knew I looked like I made water in my pants. The slush mug has no seam to give out. Just don't put in in the dish washer and no sharp objects in the drink/core area.
This also gets much colder so I do put it in the freezer upside down but that is so my beverage will not freeze in the bottomn all the cold is higher up.
The only thing I would change is I'd make a larger one I always buy big gulps, 44 oz drinks at the Ice house and SONIC.
All IN ALL I give this a Big 5 stars and two thumbs up.
