(More customer reviews)I was really stoked to be able to get a reasonable volume of containers for my homemade ice cream. However: there are holes in the lids. Granted, not straight through, there are two layers to the lid and the holes in each layer are offset, but holes nonetheless.

(More customer reviews)I started making my own ice cream this summer. I was using various storage containers to hold the ice cream, but each had problems. These containers don't hold heat, so they don't melt the ice cream on contact. The lids are vented. This allows you to get all the air out of the container before freezing.
It is easy to write on them. This is obviously good if you have more than one kind of ice cream at a time (which I do), but also for giving ice cream to friends. Not only to identify it, but to personalize it.
I just ordered the pint size as well.
