(More customer reviews)This is really terrible. Betta fish require AT LEAST 2 gallons of water(that need to be 72-84 degrees and conditioned). Yes, the fish can survive in these conditions for an amount of time, but you will have a piece of animal torture hanging on your wall.
RESEARCH! Before buying ANY animal. These fish actually AREN'T "puddle" fish.

It's not bad enough for me to return but I would not have purchased it if I had seen it in the store. If you plan to fill individual glasses rather than dumping it all out at once then look elsewhere.

Hydor Deco Stump Log Kit Large - Green (Ornament + Ario 4 Green) Review

(More customer reviews)This thing is HUGE. Do NOT buy this ornament for any tank under 100 gallons, and I would suggest larger if you want to get any effect out of the light. It will crowd out your fish entirely otherwise. You will also need at least 4 inches of substrate to even consider installing this, as the ornament itself will only fit over a bubbler/light assembly buried deeply under gravel. The piece itself is attractive enough, but is far larger than it needs to be and is mostly wasted space.
Overall this ornament is simply not practical. The requirement to build a hill for it is poor design, and a large enough tank to display the ornament and colored bubbles well is likely to be owned only by people who use them for commercial breeding (and therefore are not likely to decorate anyway).
