(More customer reviews)When I was pregnant and shopping for the nursery, I was torn between what type of bumper to buy. One one hand I liked the softness of the Carter's brand bumper, but I liked the "breathable" bumper because my daughter was born in the beginning of summer and I wanted her to stay as cool as possible; so I bought the breathable bumper. When I put it on the crib, it looked very nice and while my daughter was little and imobile, it was very useful. As soon as she began to roll around, about 4 months, I would wake in the night to screams...her litttle arms and legs would get caught in the spacing of the crib, up and over the bumper! She would roll and turn while sleeping and apparently her limbs would lift over the bumper and the bumper would crumble under the light pressure of a babies arm. I have since bought the Carter's brand bumper and I am happy. It stands up to her limbs and no more limbs get caught. Great idea, but bumper needs work.

Read crummy reviews first on the lighted versions but ignored advice. Amazon makes it easy to return, though with no postage necessary, so kudos to them.

(More customer reviews)If you have ever wondered if the right glass can enhance your enjoyment of a good wine, try these. I had a nice collection of riedel stemware and they were amazing in form and function, but I guess I am stone-fisted. I have broken at least 3 hand-washing them. I even wondered if my singing might have contributed. Don't get me wrong, I try to take good care of delicate things. I even do microsurgery so I can have a light touch when necessary, but come on! After breaking my last glass, I opted to give these a try. I bought the big bowls for my big reds, some smaller bowls for my pinot, and the taller version for my whites (rarely used,but nice to have when needed). The larger proportions and less than optimal geometry were a concern, but that has been more than offset by their durability. I have owned these 18 glasses for more than 2 years now and despite our bumps, clinks, even a few shocking knock overs onto the granite counter-top, they have survived. The glasses perform well with a range of different wines and their durability surpasses anything I have experienced. Well done on a great product!

(More customer reviews)Well, I don't really consider this a toy, but what the heck, here goes. I bought this for my wife and promptly filled it with sugar-free gumballs. A year later, it is still filled with sugar-free gumballs. The sugar-free gumballs suck...but that's a different review. As for the machine, itself, it is pretty darn good. It looks cool (it's not a toy), functions well (it's not a toy) and makes my wife happy by having one (it's not a toy). We plan on putting jelly beans in it someday but have you seen the price of Jelly Bellies lately (this thing does not handle dollar coins)? Oh...and let me say again...the sugar-free gumballs suck!
