Copco 4- to 8-Cup Polished Stainless Steel Stovetop Percolator Review

(More customer reviews)This is a great little coffee percolator, especially for the inexpensive price. For one person it makes more than I need, since the full "8 cups" comes out to about 4 normal mugs full.
I used the original plastic top for the first use, and it didn't seem to get too hot at all. Some mentioned the top melting in other reviews. Once the pot reaches a boil turn the heat down to medium, since it will still percolate there's no reason to boil on a red hot "high" burner (which may have caused the melting they mentioned).
Just in case I also purchased the replacement glass top (B0000CFM6K) advertised with the percolator here. It attached nice and tight, and works great too. I'm sure the inexpensive glass replacement top will last as long as the coffee pot.
Another great thing I noticed was that when I wet the basket, as recommended, before loading the coffee grinds no grinds ended up in the coffee at all. I thought there would be, but no grinds in any cups of coffee after a half dozen uses now. It's a great little percolator.

I tried it out 2 weeks ago and it worked well; no damage at all to the bottle I had wrapped. You do not need to blow into it; if you open the valve the air will seep in and create enough air cushion to protect the bottle. I think this is a better alternative to those plastic bubble wrap "wine skins" because this is more durable for re-use with the velcro straps. The instructions are also conveniently printed on the actual pouch. It is a little pricey when you calculate the shipping (I paid a total of $26.90; $19.95 and $6.95 for shipping), hence the 4 stars.

(More customer reviews)I bought the H.O.T. Magnum because it was the cheapest canister filter at the local petstore. Good move. Using the micron filter, it got rid of the cloudiness in my tank in about three days (55 gal tank). I switched it to carbon and it as been working like a champ. My tank also has two high-capacity over-tank filters of the normal type, and they constantly overflow and pour gunk into the tank. The H.O.T. Magnum doesn't do this. It is set to suck from my undergravel filter, which, combined with a powerhead, has really reduced floating stuff in the tank. I'm going to get a Magnum 350 pro next and get rid of both my normal over-tank filters.

(More customer reviews)This air curtain works fairly well, however make sure you note that the line is baby blue. This was something I did not really factor in as my rocks are black.
Also the line itself floats, it has not weight itself. So all of the 9 or so weights are required to keep the line down. This would be okay except that the weights are almost 2 inches thick and next to impossible to hide in your aquarium rocks. So while the bubble wall works well its virtually impossible to hide.

I was going to return the two I purchased but, after checking the process of returning them, I decided not to because I would have had more invested in postage than their original cost. They come out of the washing machine, up the wall, and swirl around the ceiling. Everyone who comes here loves my fun laundry room! I have used decals before on ceiling and walls some with success, and some peel off. These orange polka dots are the best! They go on easily, can be removed and repositioned and they don't peel off! Am thinking of somewhere else to put them... any ideas?

PLEASE NOTE: The actual polka dots you should receive are a thick vinyl that does not have any type of "transfer tape" on it that would require you to use an applicator. You should be able to simply peel them off the backing and stick them on your walls. If you buy from someone other than Decor by HDC, you will receive an inferior quality product that most likely uses a permanent glue that will damage your walls when you try and remove it (ours won't). (More customer reviews)This is a great toy for ferrets. My girls spend countless hours chasing each other through the tunnels, as well as playing in it by themselves. They even occasionally sleep in the ball. Very well made, easy to assemble. Holds together very well, I can pick up the ball and the tunnels stay connected, but it's easy enough to take apart and configure into different shapes which keeps them interested. They also use it as a hiding spot, I often find their toys stuffed into the tunnels. I plan to order more kits to create a much larger system.
