(More customer reviews)I had this for 3.5 weeks on my 100 gallon saltwater and it did not pull anything even though there were lots of tiny bubbles (there's still insufficient bubbles to do anything). It's also very noisy like a dentist's spit cup. The pump inside the tank is also ugly, it should be on the outside of the tank. The cup's lid is really tight that you need two hands to take it off.
UPDATE 8/29/2010: I bought the Reef Octopus BH-2000 (about the same price and it includes a free surface skimmer -- a $30 value that AquaC would have charged you) and after 2 hours, it was pulling junk out of the water into the cup. It makes TONS and TONS of tiny bubbles compared to the AQUAC Remora (looks like 10 times more!). Plus, the pump is outside the tank so it's not heating up the water and it's not taking up space inside the tank and also not ugly. Regarding noise, it's quieter but not silent but I figured out how -- I bought 2 4 feet tall exercise pads and fold each in half lengthwise and placed them on the left and right side of the pump to muffle the sound of the pump. Ahhh.... silence.... The air intake tube does include a muffler which does work but to silence that even more, I attached an additional tube about 8 inches long to the muffler's other nipple and now it's almost silent. The Reef Octopus BH-2000 is definitely 5 stars
