Nelson Water Bucket Heater Review

I got sick of frozen water in my dogs' bucket. After the first night in the bucket, my dog's water is still fluid with not even a skim of ice. So, it's working. The directions say not to use an extension cord and after reading the insert that came with heater, I think I know why. I think most people run a really long extension cord to wherever they need the heater, which I imagine can be pretty far. I don't think most people have outlets in their horse barns and dog kennels. I believe most people do not use a small enough gauge when they run the cord long distances and the heater does not get all the juice it needs to function properly. I am using a 25ft 14 gauge cord. I think at 25ft I could have still used a 16 gauge cord but decided to use 14. If you are going to use a 50ft-100ft definitely pony up and use a 14 gauge extension cord. Heck, you might have to use a 12 gauge at 100ft.

I bought this blender in Target. I decided to wash it prior to use, so i started walking to the kitchen sink and the screws on the bottom literally started falling out. Those are the screws that hold the blade in place. I went online and looked up the issue - and all i saw was "Whenever you turn the blender on, the screw under the blender unscrews", "after 4 or 5 uses, the base fell apart!", "the base of the glass jar came completely undone, we tried to screw it all back together, but realized, each time we blended, it was coming undone on its own."
Do not buy this.

Equipped with a powerful 475-watt motor and a four-plane stainless-steel blade, this countertop blender works great for whipping up creamy smoothies, pureeing lentil soup, mixing salsa, and more. Its Mylar soft-touch control panel offers a "mode" button and up/down arrows to navigate through 18 speed settings, to use the 60-second countdown timer, or to select "pulse" for an extra burst of power or "crush" to crush ice when mixing frozen beverages. It also provides a "power" button, a "start/stop" button, and an easy-to-read digital display. In addition, the included 48-ounce glass blending jar features a contoured shape that keeps ingredients flowing cyclone-style into the mixing blades. The jar also provides a generous easy-grip handle, measuring marks up the side, a tight-fitting lid with a removable measuring-cup insert, and a non-drip perfect-pour spout. For safety, the jar must be securely locked into place for the appliance to operate. Other highlights include a metallic faceplate with a stainless-steel wrap around, four nonslip feet, convenient cord storage, and dishwasher-safe parts. Great for parties or everyday use, the blender measures approximately 11-2/7 by 7-4/5 by 13-1/5 inches.
