(More customer reviews)I have used many ice cream scoops. This one is the best because: it cuts through very frozen ice cream easily; it is dishwasher safe; the handle has a great grip. I haven't had any problems with smell from the handle or slippage. I do recommend putting it in the dishwasher spade first. That prevents water getting into the handle. Karen S.
