(More customer reviews)This works great for freezing leftover coffee or espresso to add to iced coffee drinks later. The ice is a little tough to get out of the silicon but the shape is cool. the transfer to the freezer is a little tricky. I definitely prefer it over the traditional ice trays.

Since regular ice cubes dilute the flavor of cold coffee drinks, Fred & Friends has designed an ice cube tray meant to freeze coffee into little cubes that, while melting, only add to the strength and flavor of the drink. Each tray makes up to 8 coffee-bean-shaped cubes. The tray can also be used to freeze water, fruit juice, and fruit purees for a fun frozen ice variation. (More customer reviews)Refilling ice cube trays day in and day out over the spring and summer gets kinda irritating and quite frustrating when only one person seems to be the only one refilling them... me. But it looks like I came up with the best solution for us, these babies!
Not only are they reusable over and over, they actually last a bit longer then regular ice. That and they don't dilute your drinks in the process. These are even small enough to fit into most water bottles!
Cleaning them is a snap, just a little bit of mild soap and warm water! Blot them dry with a towel and toss them back in their container in the freezer until next time.
Now there was one thing I was worried about with these and that was taste... most items like this have a nasty plastic taste that takes weeks (if not months) to get rid of. But to my surprise there wasn't one!
Keep your drinks cold, looking cool, and not watery and get yourself some of these before summer comes around!

They don't leach a plasticy taste or smell into your drink.
Small enough to fit most water bottles.
Look really cool in most drinks.
Comes with their own reusable storage container.

(More customer reviews)I tried this the day after I got it. It was great! First off, it makes ice cubes that are about the same size as normal ice cubes. If you are looking for something larger, keep looking. For me, this is the exact size I wanted. I'm making JELLO!!
I don't know about you, but I love Jello Jigglers. I don't add any of the cold water at all. So, they come out extra firm. This does mean that they will need more fridge time to set. Also, the colors will be more intense. Finally, be sure to spray the mold with a little of your favorite non-stick spray before pouring in the Jello. They turned out great. I'm trying different color combos right now.

(More customer reviews)Quite cool I think. Perfect for those cold rum concoctions of summertime. Sure, it's pretty expensive as an ice cube tray, but it's got a high novelty factor. Pair it with a good Easter Island drink and you have a new tradition in your home.
My recommended drink for these ice cubes:
"Pisco on the brainstem"
5oz Pisco (duty free shops in South America have the cool Moai bottles for much less than any US liquor stores)
3oz Fresh lime juice
2tsp Cane Sugar (Maui sugar is best)
1oz Limoncello (or Orangecello)
2oz Lemon sour mixer
Pour over Maoi ice cubes. Top with 151 rum.
